In 1995, a team of graduate students went on a mission to create new performance standards for legacy modernization software. In 2013, our CEO, Luis Andrade, founded a new company based upon this IP heritage, setting Morphis in motion to deliver today’s best-practice legacy-to-cloud solutions for the enterprise.

As Head of U.S. operations for this Lisbon, Portugal-based company, I’m very excited to plant our flag here in Boulder. This centrally located technology hub and talent pool is the perfect setting to establish our presence in North America, hire the best developers, and begin to serve the software vendors and system integrators who support our economy’s enterprise IT backbone.

We have about 50 employees across Europe, South America and now the U.S. We already have customers here, and have helped hundreds of companies modernize outdated legacy systems to cloud-enabled computing environments. We’re looking forward to building the team that helps enterprise customers sharpen their competitive edge, manage IT security risk, and maintain market share.

My role is to spearhead Morphis’ go-to-market and capital formation strategies in North America. I was previously CEO of Australian-based text analytics software maker, Leximancer; Country Manager for SPSS in the UK prior to the acquisition by IBM; and VP of European Operations for Requisite Technology.
